Abstract:

Sunburning ultraviolet radiation (290-320 nm) has been measured at Invercargill (46.4 S, 168.4 E) since September 1981. A comparison of these data and similar measurements from northern hemisphere sites shows that there is nothing unusual or excessive about the solar ultraviolet exposure at Invercargill.
